Professionally, I have seventeen years’ experience in team leadership, product management and software development, from time at Dow Jones, Factiva, Inform Technologies, and more. At Factiva, I led a global 30-person team, and was awarded two US patents in search relevance ranking.

In sports, my proudest achievement was being part of the 2004 Olympic eight-oared crew. We set the world record and won Olympic gold in Athens after a 40-year drought in the event. I competed in 2000 Sydney Olympics, was a coach in the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, and am a four-time world rowing champion. Since “retiring,” I have stayed involved by mentoring aspiring athletes, and as a director of the United States Rowing Association, where I was chairman in 2012 and 2013.

I have a bachelor’s degree in economics from Berkeley. And while I live in San Francisco, I am a die-hard fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles.

I’ve been a proud team member with InstaViser since the fall of 2014. Prior to joining InstaViser, I worked for ESPN for five years in the Content Production and Programming Department.

I picked up rowing post college after Googling the sport. I am a 2016 United States Olympian and four-time USRowing National Team member. I have also proudly served as a member of the USRowing Board of Directors since 2013.

I attended the University of Virginia where I was a two-sport varsity athlete playing volleyball and softball while earning a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Religious Studies in 2007. I went on to receive my Master’s Degree in Social Foundations and Policy from UVA in 2008.

I grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and am a big Saints, LSU, and UVA sports fan.

I currently live and train in Bellingham, Washington.

I started bobsledding in 2007, after playing professional softball for a year and failing to make the 2008 Olympic softball team. I was a brakeman for 3 seasons and won a bronze medal in the 2010 Winter Olympics before converting to a pilot. In 2014, I won a silver medal in the 2014 Winter Olympics. In 2015, I became the first U.S. woman to win a World Championship in women’s bobsled and the first woman to make the U.S. team as a 4man pilot. I graduated from the George Washington University with a bachelor’s in exercise science and master’s in sports administration.
